OCTOBER IS SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST AWARENESS MONTH. Sudden Cardiac Arrest is NOT a heart attack.
It shows no favoritism – it can strike any one, at any age, at any time, in any place!
The only chance of survival is IMMEDIATE CPR and shocks from an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). For each minute that elapses from the on-set until the first shock, the chance of survival DECREASES 10%. That is why it is so important that EVERYONE learns how to do CPR and how to use an AED so that others may have the highest chance of survival.
Help us spread awareness, so that everyone can know how to increase the chances of survival from a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
